Tamol x 225 tablets is an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to severe pain. It is used to treat many conditions such as headache, body ache, toothache and common cold. It works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical that cause pain and fever.
During drug-nights both doses of tramadol significantly increased the duration of stage 2 sleep, and significantly decreased the duration of slow-wave sleep (stage 4). Tramadol 100 mg but not 50 mg significantly decreased the duration of paradoxical (rapid eye movement) sleep.
What is tamol X used for?
Tamol 225mg Tablet helps relieve pain and fever by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for fever and pain. It is used to treat headaches, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, muscle aches, and the common cold.
Classified as a Schedule IV drug, tramadol is considered useful as a pain reliever with a low potential for abuse. Despite these concerns, tramadol is one of many common treatments recommended for osteoarthritis and other painful conditions.
Do not take medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs (which are used to treat depression) with tramadol. The combination can cause significant side effects such as anxiety, confusion and hallucinations.
